Fit my Maytag M1200 perfectly. My vacuum was extremely loud. I read up that it could be the fan. Took apart the vacuum, carefully (found a Youtube video for a similar Riccar model). Sure enough, cracked fan. If you don't consider yourself handy, don't take it apart. Seriously, take it to an authorized dealer for repair.
