I have all types of floor surfaces - I chose this Rug Dr. because I wanted tanks big enough for at least a whole room per fill, powerful suction to dry the floors completely and carpets to damp, and brushes that can be rinsed clean rather than replacing costly (fiber) rollers, but is more like a vacuum cleaner in mobility and weight. On my old hardwood, it sucked debris from between floor boards. On tiles, the grout was even brighter. On linoleum, all spots of kitchen spills were gone in one pass. A quick push-button releases the front header and flipping a lever to clean carpets is so easy. This machine does it all to the edges, wall to wall. The All-In-One floor cleaner leaves a satin sheen on the tile floors as well as leaves my carpets spotless. Warning lights for more solution or time to empty the tank are very visible. I love doing my floors with this machine.
