The Sanitaire SC6060A RESTORE Spot Carpet Extractor offers ultra-portable carpet cleaning with all the quality you’d expect from a commercial carpet extractor. Its five-foot hose is perfect for spot cleaning carpet, stairs, area rugs, upholstery, and other hard-to-reach areas. Even the most deep-seated stains don’t stand a chance against this machine’s powerful suction coupled with its 6-inch scrub brush.

Don’t let its light weight of 12.8 pounds fool you: this carpet extractor features a large capacity, 3/4 gallon tank. The tank is removable for ease of use, and this product comes with an 8-ounce bottle Ultimate Carpet Cleaner + OXY. With its long 22-foot cord, this carpet extractor can go anywhere you go!

Before you clean, remove loose dirt and impediments. Pretreat the area to improve cleaning effectiveness for heavily soiled carpet and high-traffic areas. Spray any Sanitaire Stain Pretreat formula on the affected area, and allow it to penetrate for at least 3 minutes.

Release the Flex Hose by twisting the hose secure latch clockwise. Unwrap the Flex Hose completely, and attach the Large Stain Tool to the hose grip until it snaps together. Check to ensure that the tool is securely attached. Twist the Quick Release Cord Wrap clockwise to unwrap the power cord completely, and plug the machine into a grounded outlet.

To fill the machine, remove the tank from the back by lifting up the tank carry handle. Unscrew the black cap and remove the bottle insert. Fill the tank with hot tap water (140 degrees Fahrenheit maximum) to the water fill line. Add 2 ounces of Sanitaire 2X formula to the tank. Replace the bottle insert in the tank and tighten the black cap. Replace the tank on the machine.

To clean, turn the unit on and hold the cleaning tool approximately 2.5 cm above the soiled surface. Press the spray trigger to apply the cleaning formula to the soiled area. Using the brush on the cleaning tool, gently scrub the area. For more thorough cleaning, spray additional formula while the brush and suction are in contact with the surface. Apply downward pressure on the cleaning tool and pull it toward you. The suction will remove dirt and the cleaning formula. Continue until no more dirt can be removed. As a final step, use “drying strokes” (by not pressing the spray trigger) to remove as much liquid as possible. Repeat as often as needed.
