Owner's Manual

This portable air mover allows you to quickly dry wet carpets, floors, walls, and ceilings. The Shop-Air AM425 has three positions to allow you to reach all of these areas. It’s got onboard outlets so that you can connect multiple units, and has a circuit breaker for safety. The cord is 10 feet long, and this product comes with a 1 year warranty.

The three operating positions are “down” for wet floors and shampooed carpets, “angle” for drying plaster walls or wet furniture, and “up” to dry ceiling paint.

To operate your air mover, unpack it from the carton and place it in the most suitable area. To find the best area, ensure that there’s a minimum clearance of 2 feet from each side to allow for proper airflow. Make sure you can plug it in without the cord becoming a tripping hazard. Turn the unit on and select the air speed. When drying is complete, turn the unit off and store it (see below for instructions).

To use multiple air movers, position the first air mover according to the above instructions and plug the second unit into one of the receptacles on the first unit. Place the second unit in the operation position and in the most suitable area, then turn it on. Do this as many times as necessary to provide the airflow you need.

The receptacles are all equipped with a circuit protector that will shut off power to the unit if the receptacles become overloaded. If they become overloaded, move all switches to the off position. Press the reset button located above the receptacle and then turn the unit on and any units that are connected to it.

Clean your air mover before you store it (see instructions in the owner’s manual for details). Wrap the power cord around the carry handle on the top of the unit to keep it from becoming tangled. If you have multiple units, you can stack them on top of each other. Stack them by placing them on their sides making sure the indented side is facing down. Do not stack more than four high, and never operate it while it’s on its side or stacked. Store your air mover indoors.
