This intercom door station can be recessed using part #D250FP if you’d prefer that it be flush with the rest of your home’s exterior, providing the ultimate versatility for homeowners.

The camera’s location at the front of the door station gives the opportunity to get a good look at anyone waiting outside your door. This enables you to decide whether you want to let them in or not. The “secret knock” and looking through a tiny keyhole are a thing of the past - with the Intercom Door Station, it’s quick and easy to determine whether the person visiting is a friend or a foe.

You can also speak with your visitor to ensure their intentions are good. See a plumber you’re not familiar with? You can have a discussion with them to determine why they’re not sending out the regular guy who comes out. You can even ask them to show their certification (which they should carry with them at all times) on the video camera. You can never be too careful.
