To avoid risk of injury, make sure you switch the vacuum off before you perform any maintenance work. You can do this by using the on/off switch on the Comfort Handle.
How to Empty the Dust Container
Empty the dust container before it fills to the “Max” marking by turning the lid in the direction of the arrow until the first stop, then removing the container upward. Hold the container close to a trash receptacle so dust doesn’t fly into the air, and then turn the lid in the direction of the arrow until the next stop. The flap will open and dust will fall out.
Turn the lid back to its original position and firmly close the flap until it clicks into place. Slide the handle along the guide line and onto the PowerUnit connector from above until you hear it click.
How to Clean the Fine Dust Filter
You can find the fine dust filter in the dust container, and it should be cleaned monthly at minimum.
Remove the dust container and lift the fine dust filter upward to remove. Hold the filter over a trash bin and carefully knock the filter on the rubberized lower edge, turning it slightly as you go to free fine dust. When it’s clean, return it to its position in the dust container. Replace the dust container on the PowerUnit Connector.
There’s a risk of damage caused by improper cleaning, so follow the above instructions to avoid damaging your fine dust filter. Never attempt to clean the inside, or use sharp objects to clean the filter. Also do not brush the fine dust filter.
How to Clean the Pre-Filter
Remove the dust container and fine dust filter. Empty the container over a trash can and lift the pre-filter upward to remove it. Unlock motor protection filter by turning it counterclockwise and lifting upward to remove. Gently knock dust out of the pre-filter over he trash receptacle. You can use a fine cleaning brush to clean the inside thoroughly.
Once you’ve cleaned the pre-filter, put the motor protection filter back into the pre-filter, making sure it’s properly positioned and secure. Lock it into place by turning it clockwise as far as you can.
Replace the pre-filter into the dust container by lining up guide lines on the two sections and turning the container lid back to its original position. Close the cover at the bottom, and listen to be sure it clicks into place. Replace the fine dust filter and the dust container into the PowerUnit connector.
As stated above, there’s a risk of damage due to improper cleaning. Follow instructions to avoid damage.

Carefully dry afterward and then re-insert the pre-filter into the dust container and turn it to its original position. Replace the dust container on the PowerUnit connector.
How to Clean the Electrobrush
Disconnect the Electrobrush from the vacuum cleaner and place it upside-down on a level, clean surface. Use scissors to cut threads or hairs that are wound around the roller brush. Run the scissors along the guide track on the roller brush, and then power up the vacuum cleaner to suck up the cut hairs and threads.
How to Remove the Roller Brush from the Electrobrush
This is not possible with the handheld brush.

Unlock the flap on the side so the unlock icon is visible, and lift the flap as far as it’ll go. Remove the roller brush and the roller brush handle -if you notice it’s dirty.
