We've reviewed canisters, uprights, stick vacs, handhelds, and even a portable central vacuum. Most recently, the Miele Classic C1 Titan stole our hearts, and the Miele Complete C3 Kona packed quite a punch thanks to its 1200 watt motor and Miele SEB228 ElectroPlus Power Head.

However, this time around, we are on to a new adventure with the ProTeam Super CoachVac. Being the first backpack vacuum up for review, we had a lot of preconceived notions similar to what you may have when you contemplate about purchasing a backpack vacuum for yourself. For one, we thought this unit would be super heavy and uncomfortable to place on our backs. To our surprise, the ProTeam Super CoachVac was not heavy at all. In fact, with it weighing only 11 pounds, it felt as light as a feather as we used ProTeam's Xover Multi-Surface Floor Tool to vacuum low-pile carpet that lines our lobby and white ceramic tile in our bathroom. What's more, we felt safe and secure carrying this vacuum thanks to the black padded foam shoulder straps and adjustable waistbelt.
The power switch can be found on the left-hand side and can easily be turned on and off with just a quick flick of your finger. Best of all, its 1188 watt motor packs quite a punch, but the sound level still stays at a controlled 67 dB. This is the equivalent to the sound of a radio or television audio. So feel free to carry on with your conversation without delay!

To ensure you get the most out of your ProTeam Super CoachVac, each unit we sell comes with a list of attachments. Standard with each kit is a 17 inch ProTeam Crevice Tool, 3 inch ProTeam Dusting Brush, and 5 inch ProTeam Upholstery Tool. These attachments can be easily hooked to the end of the 42 inch to 59 inch lightweight aluminum wand to reach up high, down low, and anywhere in-between. The ProTeam floor tool you receive all depends on which kit you purchase. Kit A and Kit C tots ProTeam's Xover Performance Floor Tool, and Kit B and Kit D comes equipped with ProTeam's Xover Multi-Surface Floor Tool. Both premium attachments have a 14-inch cleaning width and fit 1 1/2'' aluminum wands. This means you can easily purchase these tools separately and include in your goody bag of additional attachments.

When we were done testing, we wrapped up the yellow industrial cord, secured with a black Velcro strap, and took the liberty of opening up this backpack vacuum to check out the filtration system. To reach the interior, loosen the purple twist cap and you'll be greeted with ProTeam's 10 qt intercept micro-filter bag. For sale on our website, you should go through at least one 10 qt bag every few months (if not more) depending on how much you use ProTeam's Super CoachVac. Underneath these bags, you will find a 10 qt micro cloth filter. Last but not least, ProTeam's HEPA Pleated Dome Filter sits at the bottom and is guaranteed to filter 99.97% of dust particles down to 0.3 microns in size.
