This is a OE style direct Electrolux Epic 6500 replacement vacuum hose in black, which has a two way switch, suction control, and wand release button on the hose handle. The two female electrical contacts inside the hose handle accept the wand electrical contacts, providing power down to the powerhead. If your hose has a leak or a cut, they you will need to update the hose to get full suction from the vacuum.

This new hose with switch for the power nozzle is perfect! The switch to turn on the power nozzle broke after many years ,the "switch" is no longer available, and so we bought a new hose/handle/switch. This will keep the Electrolux Epic going for decades to come! Kevin
