Bought a Miele that was an open box item at an vacuum store. Had an issue that required me to tear down most of the u1 upright for servicing as there was too many times the dirt got around the bag and clogged up the motor of the vacuum. When watching the teardown, we realized that our vacuum never came with this part which is why we always had a problem with the bag coming out of the attachment. That's what caused me to buy this part. Seems to fit perfectly and forces the bag to stay in place. Product shipped fast and seems high quality. Cannot compare to the original part since mine didn't come with it but would definitely buy from the evacuumstore again.
