Great price. Works great, a little tricky to install

This is a pack of two. You need four. This would have been handy info to have had... They need to include this little tidbit of info in the item description. Or better yet, sell ALL FOUR in a pack! Sheesh. Ok, now here is the tip for the install. First, if it's not obvious, you have to remove the two end caps from the roller. You can't just pry the old bristles out and jam the new ones in. Believe me, I ... oh never mind. I held the parallel parts of the D-shaped end cap in a vise and used a 1/4" drive, 3/8" socket to remove the nut on the other end. Pull the old bristles out of their grooves with a needle nose. Next, soften the new bristles up in hot water and pre twist them to the approximate curve they will take when installed. You'll never get them in cold, the thin sheet metal of the roller body will just spring apart and you won't seat the groove in the bristle on to the roller channel. Get them hot and soft and twisted. They will go right on like greased butter... Reassemble the end caps. Don't over tighten the nut on the end cap, you will lock up the bearing. Slowly tighten it until you have just removed the end play and the roller spins freely. That nut is a Nylock and it won't back off. Done this way, it's a 10-15 minute job. I bought a brand new roller for over $40.00 and THEN discovered I could have just bought the bristles. Well, now I have a back-up roller with new bristles.

Although these were not the same as the originals, I'm finding that they are very good and are definitely working better than my 15-year old worn out ones. A little tricky to install, but my husband is handy and figured it out. In the end they were worth it.

Brush strips work but are not the same design as the originals. Agree it is extremely difficult to get the roller caps back on because they are wider than the originals and not very flexible to the roller groves. Had to finally take it to the repair shop to get installed.
