Description

This is a OE style direct Electrolux Epic 6500 replacement vacuum hose, which has a two way switch, suction control, and wand release button on the hose handle. There are two female electrical contacts inside the hose handle to accept the wand electrical contacts. If your hose has a leak or a cut, they you will need to update the hose to get full suction from the vacuum.

My Electrolux vacuum is 30 years old and running strong, I had to replace the hose because the electrical wiring runs through it and after that many years, it just gave out. The hose is good quality has a good feel to it. It doesn’t match up quite like the original, but it does work with the power nozzle. You just have to really push hard to connect it. They’ve replaced some metal pieces with plastic, but it all seems pretty strong. It is nice that they’re still making replacement parts for the Electrolux vacuum cleaners. I have no complaints with this company, I got the product that was advertised and no problems with shipping. I will order supplies from this company in the future.

It fits and it works. Happy I could find the part, just wish I could have specified color desired. If they didn't have my desired color that would be ok, but would have liked the chance to say if you have my color that would be great. It works and that's the most important thing.

Previously purchased similar item from a different online company and it had electric short right out of the pkg. Sent it back and tried another from that co and same problem. Then we found this company online and ordered the hose we needed and it fit perfectly and works amazingly on our older model vacuum. We will buy from this co again
