    After this part arrived, I tried to separate the lower wand from the upper wand on my 1988 Electrolux. Either the connection between the two wands was totally jammed with old dirt or the old upper wand was welded to the lower wand. As I needed that lower wand, I had to order it separately and then wait for weeks for it to arrive. I was frustrated but ultimately, both parts fit beautifully and I'm back in business.
