Determining the correct brushroll for your power nozzle can be easily done in a few simple steps. If you have an older accessory kit for an older central vacuum model such as the 1580, 1590 or centralux models, you will most likely need the PN5 and PN6 brush assembly. This can be confirmed by looking at the bottom of your power nozzle for a model number.
The most common power nozzle used with Electrolux central vacuum systems is the Epic power nozzle. The most common model numbers for this power head are n109j, n137m and N106F. Some newer accessory kits such as the Electrolux CS3000 and CS2000 kits will use quite different brush assemblies. The parts used for these kits depend on the power nozzle. The Electrolux CS3000 accessory kit uses the EL7A power nozzle which uses the 61699-1 brush assembly.
