First introduced in the mid 2000s, the EL6986a offers premium filtration by means of a HEPA filter and micron pre-motor filter. The UltraSilencer offers two options for HEPA filters: the EL012b standard filter and the EL012w washable filter which can be rinsed under water and dried before reusing it.
