This part did the trick. Thank you “evacuumstore.com”. I am so happy that I was able to fix my vacuum sweeper. 😁 Thank you to Andre for the detailed directions.

Like a few others said, Andre’s instructions help a lot. Taking everything apart and moving them around is a bit daunting. And I would suggest you do the take down when you have the part in hand. I had to wait almost a week and by the time I got back to it with the part, I had forgotten how things went back in. Luckily it’s pretty straight forward figuring it out. Yes, I had to wire splice also. Black to black. Red to red. Have your wire connectors ready! Snip snip you can do it! Got it all back together and working. Even had a couple screws left over! Lol

I thought so was going to have to buy a new vacuum cleaner but then found the part to repair mine! It was easy to install and the power brush works perfectly again!

The part arrived quickly, as mentioned by others, and I followed Andre's instructions. It took me about an hour, partly because I needed to splice the wires with the connectors from the old coupling to the new one. I wasn't sure where the plastic clips were, but once I found them they broke off very quickly. The one thing that I would add is that the torx-15 driver that I have was not long enough to reach the screws that are deep in their wells. I found that I could get those out by using just the right sized small flat-head screwdriver. Thanks to all that helped me through this.
