The 9213 by J.E. Adams is a versatile, high-end car wash vacuum that is ideal for commercial locations such as car detail shops, gas stations and other similar locations. Many vacuums of this style boast a powerful 2-motor system, but that is where the 9213 shines above the rest. This J.E. Adams unit houses a third 1.6 horsepower motor for an additional surge of suction power which helps to finish the job more quickly, as well as provide more efficient results. For added durability, the dome at the top of the vacuum is made of stainless steel which helps to protect both the 3-motor system, and the unit overall.
J.E. Adams 9213VR Vault Ready Car Wash Vacuum with Stainless Steel Dome and Coin Acceptor
The ""VR"" in the model number of this commercial vacuum cleaner stands for ""vault ready."" Unlike the 9213 which has a coin box located on the unit and is secured through a pin-locking system, the 9213VR uses a vault located below the machine to hold the coins inserted. The vault is typically bricked or cemented below the unit with tubing running from it to the vacuum. The tubing transfers the coins into the vault keeping them safe and secure.

If you're looking for a lighter weight car wash vacuum for consumer use, then the 9213LD is sure to meet and exceed your expectations. This magnificent powerhouse has the same 3-motor system as the stainless steel 9213 model. The primary difference is the dome on the top of the machine. The 9213LD comes with a lighted dome which is made of plastic and is available in a variety of colors.

This particular J.E. Adams vacuum cleaner unit offers a vault ready feature with a lighter weight plastic dome rather than a cumbersome stainless steel one. The dome is available in a few different colors and protects the 3-motor system that the whole 9213 series of commercial vacuums share.
VAULT READY DESCRIPTION:
There are two primary ways to store coins in a self-serve environment; either inside the equipment in a coin box or in a vault that is installed beneath the meter to collect coins. Vaults can hold anywhere from $700 in quarters for the 10-inch model up to $1600 for the 18-inch (10”, 14”, and 18” vaults available for sale). Since most vaults are cemented or bricked in on all sides they are very difficult for thieves to break into. JE Adams provides the 2” threaded nipple and vault tube cover for most units and customers are required to supply concrete bases and tubing to direct money to the vault. Units can be lowered to meet ADA requirements.
NOTE: As of 3-10-16 the vault cover height has changed to a standard height of 7"" to help accommodate ADA compliance requests.

- The vacuums come equipped with an Imonex coin box which is capable of holding 940 quarters (part# 8149)
- Both the Imonex coin box and faceplate are secured in place with a pin lock system (part# 8638)
- A 110 volt SSAC timer comes standard with each model (part# 8712SS4)
- Hoses come standard as black 2 inch X 15 foot hoses
- For an additional charge 25 and 50 foot hoses are available, as well as a 1/12 inch diameter hose
