Unlike similar models such as the 9220, which have a small stainless steel dome, this machine comes with a larger dome. The dome helps to protect the motors housed within the unit and can also add to the overall durability of the vacuum as well. If you are concerned about maneuverability in terms of cleaning your car, fear not. The 9230 comes with the J.E. Adams standard 15 foot hose for long reach and versatility while cleaning. To add to the multifaceted nature of this unit, the hose is available in a variety of colors at no additional charge, as well as additional lengths for a nominal fee.

The model 9230LD comes equipped with a lighted plastic dome rather than the stainless steel one that accompanies the 9230.
